  Annual Appeal
CONTRIBUTE A DONATION

Dear GT Alumni and Friends,

The 2011-12 school year is in full swing, and so far it has been a great one! I am thrilled to say that we kicked off the new school year with an increase of 42% in freshman enrollment and a total student population increase of over 13%. At a time when most private schools are struggling for enrollment, this is something we can all be proud of. Gordon Tech has welcomed a whole new group of Rams into our family, and just as the alumni that has come before them, they will proudly carry on our traditions of Faith, Respect, Discipline and Excellence.

Of all things that can be said about Gordon Tech, it is truly a place where the people make the school. This is not a passing truth, nor a long-term goal, but rather a truth that has endured for almost 60 years. Whether I am looking at pictures from our recent championship volleyball game, or the thousands of pictures from our past, it is the people who have made this school such a special place. Gordon Tech’s alumni, faculty, coaches and parents are a special group, all who “Bleed Orange”, and can always be counted on to pass along the GT legacy.

It is because of this dedication and belief in GT and our mission to educate the leaders of tomorrow that I am reaching out to you today. Your gift of $75, $100, $500 or any amount will help make a huge impact on the life of a current GT student. This year, more than ever, GT is in need of the support of our alumni and friends. It is our goal to raise 1 million dollars through the 2011 annual appeal, fundraisers, major gifts, and corporate and foundation support, which would help ensure that Gordon Tech is able to provide the kind of education each student deserves. We know that this is a daunting task, but this is a goal that can be met if we all pitch in together to help make a difference in the lives of some very deserving young people.

Take a moment to reflect on your time at GT. The friends and experiences that were made during your high school years are irreplaceable, which is why we ask that you consider this opportunity to help pass along a great Gordon Tech education. By making a contribution to our GT Fund for Excellence, you are helping to ensure a bright future in Orange Country.

Sincerely,

Kelly M. Jones
