GT Student Activities
The Art Club provides the student body with many opportunities for cultural and artistic development
Christian Awareness Club meets weekly to study the Bible and grow spiritually.
Ritmo Espanol – Explores and performs different styles of Latin Dance
Diversity Club - This organization plans cultural events that reflect the heritages and diversity represented at GT. This club is responsible for awareness related to Black History Month, Hispanic History Month, etc. They also contribute to the annual “Taste of GT”.
Encore - Is dedicated to producing 5 quality theatrical productions annually. There are monthly meetings, field trips to local theater productions, games, opportunities to get involved in theater productions and an annual banquet. Leadership roles are available for those students truly dedicated to the arts through the election of officers. Learn more
GT Mathletes - provides opportunities for students to interact with “real world” mathematics through guest lectures, projects and games.
Harry Potter Club – The Harry Potter Club celebrates and explores the wizardly world created in J.K Rowlings best selling series. They hold regular events that include book discussions, film screenings, and Potter themed activities.
Improv - Gordon Tech’s Improv Team practices and performs the art of improvisational comedy. Through professional workshops and bi-weekly rehearsals, this team presents several performances annually. Learn more
Jam Session- provides GT’s aspiring musicians a forum to practice and play their instruments together. Occasional optional performance opportunities will be available.
National Honor Society - The purpose of the National Honor Society is to promote the four qualities of leadership, character, service, scholarship and to recognize outstanding students who display these qualities.
Peer Ministers- The Gordon Tech Peer Ministers meet plan and lead the underclass retreats, participate in all-school liturgies and are the spiritual leaders among the student body.
Ram Rowdies - GT's pep club puts the spirit in GT school spirit.

The Science Spot- provides year round opportunities for students to explore science. Each month features a new activity or project related to science. At the end of each year, all members who have participated in at least half of the events are invited to join us for a field trip.
Stage Crew - The club offers the student an opportunity to learn about the technical aspects of a theatrical production: lighting, set construction, props, costumes, and sound crews. Learn more
Student Ambassadors - A group of students selected by faculty and staff to help with admissions (i.e. school visits, open house, and registration). These students also give tours and serve as shadow hosts and greeters for special events. They are the face of GT. This organization also plans school dances, events and fundraisers.
Student Government - The governing body of the students. Members are chosen by the student body to serve as their representatives to faculty and administrators on issues of importance to them. They also organize several social and fundraising events throughout the school year.
Yearbook - Aspiring photographers, writers and advertisers find a workshop for their talents in the year-long endeavor of creating the school yearbook.
Young Women's Leadership Academy - Young Women’s Leadership Academy – YWLA is a club that provides young women the opportunity to discover themselves through opportunities to have experiences in building their leadership, relational and management skills; which will allow them to achieve success in life.
