Young Women's Leadership Academy:
Young Women’s Leadership Academy – YWLA is a club that provides young women the opportunity to discover themselves through opportunities to have experiences in building their leadership, relational and management skills; which will allow them to achieve success in life.
YWLA provides bi-weekly meeting that discuss a variety of topics such as health, nutrition, interview skills, conflict management, leadership at GT, money management, time management and much more.
Once a semester a speaker is invited to speak to the young women of YWLA to share their experiences and wisdom about their own lives and provide insight into many wonderful career opportunities available to them and subjects of interest to them.
YWLA also hosts many wonderful social events that allow the young women the opportunity to mingle with under and upper classmates, and their families; such as our annual Mother/Daughter tea.
YWLA is another means to build upon GT’s core values Excellence, Faith, Self-Disciple, and Respect allowing our members to become contributing members of GT and our communities. We encourage every young women of GT to become involved with the YWLA and see what we have to offer each other.
